Raptor Supplies offers a wide range of standoffs from Grainger, Richard Manno Co. and Micro Plastics. These fasteners are also known as standoff mounts and are used to elevate a circuit board above a surface. They are ideal for extending thread options or being used as adaptors for joining male-threaded parts to female-threaded parts.

Features

  • They screw onto screws or bolts manually.
  • They are ideal for mounting & connecting panels, gears, doors and circuit boards.
  • Each end features a threaded shaft (male) or a threaded hole (female).
  • The hexagonal body allows tightening with a wrench.
  • The female-female models have an internal thread on both ends while male-female models have an internal thread on one end and an externally threaded stud / screw on the other end.
  • These hex standoffs are available in natural and black colours.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a standoff and a spacer?

Standoffs are threaded on both ends, whereas spacers are unthreaded & have an inside clearance hole.

Do you have to remove unused standoffs?

Any unused standoffs must be removed and every mounting hole in the motherboard must be screwed into a standoff to prevent short-circuiting of the motherboard.

Are these hex standoffs pre-installed?
