Lovejoy 69790400125 gear coupling hub is a useful component in mechanical power transmission systems that connects two shafts to transmit power efficiently between them. It consists of two hubs, each attached to a shaft and a flexible gear sleeve that connects the hubs. The gear sleeve has internal teeth that mesh with external teeth on the hubs, allowing for torque to be transmitted while accommodating misalignment between the shafts. This Lovejoy gear coupling is commonly used in manufacturing, mining, agriculture and construction settings due to its ability to handle high torque loads, compensate for shaft misalignment, dampen vibration and reduce shock loads.
