Genteq brushless ECM motors are HVAC motors that have an in-built microprocessor controller for controlling the motor speed. These AC motors are more energy efficient in comparison to general purpose AC motors. They come equipped with ball bearings for low rotational friction and can be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 55 degrees C. Genteq capacitors are designed to continuously adjust phase shift or current to the motor's windings for delivering a high torque output. These capacitors feature metallised polypropylene film for providing self-heating control and very low dielectric loss for motors. These CSA certified capacitors are ideal for being used only on low frequencies like 50 and 60 Hz, with a tolerance of +/-6% within the temperature range of 40 to 70 degrees C. Genteq capacitors are equipped with UL recognized, pressure-sensitive interrupters capable of interrupting available fault currents up to 10000 amperes. These units feature aluminium casing and steel covers to resist corrosion.
