About Conrader

The company's product line includes throttle controls, as well as check, safety relief and micro & unloader valves. Conradar air compressor control valves are designed to drain excess fluid to the tank (with little or no pressure) to prevent pumps and system components from surge shock damage. These unloader valves feature a maximum working pressure of 175 psi and have a brass body featuring stainless-steel ball and spring mechanism. They have a maximum operating temperature of 500 degrees Fahrenheit and a maximum flow rate of 60 cfm. The company's soft seat safety valves protect pneumatic systems from damage due to overpressure. These Conrader relief valves feature a silicon seal, brass body, stainless steel spring and set pressure range of 25-250 psig.

Things to Consider

Cross-Reference Alternatives

Conrader MPNs cross individual references to the equivalent Dixon, Honeywell, AME and Anvil for categories like pneumatic system components, pressure & control valves and pipe & tubing. So, if you're looking for a competitor item that is either out of stock or obsolete, chances are Raptor Supplies has the equivalent Conrader products available.

These Conrader products range from small to large sizes. They may require careful packaging as some items might get damaged while shipping. Hence, these Conrader items are delivered by courier shipment and air freight for minimum downtime.

Conrader Competitive Advantages

Smart Start Inlet Control Filter

This filter allow compressors to reach full speed before running under loaded conditions, reducing amperage draw on start-up and eliminating tripped circuit breakers. It compensates for starting voltage drops and allows the usage of multiple tools on the same circuit. This integral inlet filter provides a barrier between worksite contamination and compressor and also improves cold weather & extension cord starting characteristics. It is composed of Nylon material with foamed elements to withstand a maximum operating temperature of 300 degrees F.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the function of a throttle control?

Conrader throttle controls are suitable for controlling the engine speed of gasoline and diesel engine-driven compressors. They keep the engine at the operational speed until they receive a pressure signal and instantly throttle down the engine until the pressure signal is released.

What is the function of the spring and ball mechanism in pressure unloaders?

The spring and ball mechanism diverts the flow of liquid from the spray nozzle and sends it in a continuous cycle from the outlet side to the inlet side of the pump system. It happens until the operator pulls the trigger gun to stop the process.

How to adjust the unloader valve?

  • Ensure the pressure washer is on a flat surface.
  • Start the engine and keep it at 3700 rpm before load and 3400 rpm under the load.
  • Remove the nylon lock inside the unloader valve and shut off the pressure-adjusting nozzle.
  • Remove the washer and spring from the unloader valve. A threaded piston with two lock nuts is exposed.
  • Tighten the nuts with a wrench.
  • Apply three threads off the bottom and put the washer, spring and nut back in place.
